&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;1/1/2009 - Starting weight 267&lt;BR&gt;1/26/2009 - Today's weight 254&lt;BR&gt;total lost 12 pounds&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;My weight loss seems to be slow but steady. That's pretty miraculous considering I'm not dieting. It's so interesting that for so many years dieting was the only solution for me. All the diets I've been on have taught me well how to eat healthy. I know that I should be eating a diet rich in lean protein, whole grains, lots of fruits and vegetables and only healthy fats. The key then to losing weight eating this way is through portion control. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;I've developed a few habits in the last few years which have really helped me control portion sizes, especially when I eat out. I have learned to ask for a to go box when my food is first delivered to the table. That way I can reduce the portion sizes right away and remove the food I should be saving for another meal. Then, no matter how tasty the food is I'm not tempted to keep eating and stuffing myself. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;Another good tactic is to share the meal with my husband. If we each only eat half a meal we both have the opportunity to eat less. This works especially well for me if my husband wants desert. He and I have an agreement that I can have a bite or 2 of what he orders and I'm usually totally satisfied with that. I don't feel as if I am denying myself the yummy desert but do feel that I'm in total control of what and how much I eat. It also helps that, knowing how much my husband loves desert I want him to have the bulk of it because I love him. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

		<title>Happy Holidays</title>

&lt;H1&gt;Weight 255&lt;/H1&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Hello everyone,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Since starting to use my custom self hypnosis script I have lost 12 pounds. That doesn't sound like a lot of weight, considering I've been at this more than a month, but when you take into consideration that I'm not dieting, just eating healthier, it's pretty great! Bear in mind also the fact that Thanksgiving and Christmas both fell during that month. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Typically, I gain weight during the holidays but because of the suggestions I'm giving myself in my script I'm finding that I'm constantly thinking of eating less and eating foods that are more healthy. That doesn't mean I didn't have some baked goodies and other traditional holiday fare but it was easier to eat less of them because myself hypnosis suggestions were always on the tip of my brain and how I thought about the foods were different. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'm really impressed by the fact that I may be able to take this weight off without having to change everything I eat. I am trying to avoid anything made with white flour or processed sugar but I'm not feeling the need to be perfect. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Exercise has been more of a challenge for me this month since we've had a houseful of grandkids and my preference was to spend time with them. But now, since the house is quiet again my focus will switch to exercising every day. &lt;/P&gt;
